The Hour Has Come

Father, the Hour Has Come Carolyn Blish

Finally the day had come and He was hung on the cross to die. It was terrible for Him, but He did it for us. When Jesus felt His spirit or life slipping away from Him, He said "Father, into Thy hands I commit My Spirit , which meant that He willingly sacrificed Himself for our sicknesses and diseases and all our sins, Because He loved us so much. He also asked our Father to forgive those who were murdering Him. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do!"

"He was wounded for our sins, and He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities, the chastisement, peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes (that wounded Him we are healed and made whole."

Jesus proclaimed "It is finished" and died, thereby fulfilling His promise and the plans of our Father for spending eternity in heaven with Them.
