Jesus also knew that he was to do great things, so from an early age told everyone that He must be about His father's business. Everyone marveled at how smart Jesus was, but He knew God's plan of salvation, and knew that He must carry it out one day. Most importantly, He wanted to teach us to love our Heavenly Father and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
